As a property manager, every guest’s arrival is a chance to create magic, especially as people save long and hard for their holiday break.
This August, a couple of young gentlemen we hadn’t hosted before, took one of our holiday properties.
We’d prepared the property as usual, I behaved no differently than I normally would. We had good rapport and communication.
A heartwarming surprise!
So at the end of their trouble free weeks stay, upon checkout they presented me with this little cup and saucer. Frankly, a gift that speaks for itself.
Kindness reciprocated
These things are testament to the connections we create. Our holiday rental properties aren’t just bricks & mortar, they’re vessels for stories and gestures of goodwill.
The translation: ‘You are so close to being perfect Yolanda, that you’re dazzling’
I’m far from it, but I won’t forget those guys. One could argue that their gesture was equally as valuable as any Trip Advisor review.
