East Marbella, Puerto Banus – Quick Look:
Born in the 1960s, and peaking in the 80s, Puerto Banus has now established itself firmly on the international jet-setters map. Filled with a variety of mega-yachts housing jet-skis, private pools and even helicopter pads this is still a destination favoured by the rich and famous (or indeed the not so famous!).
But even if you’re bank balance does quite reach these standards, it’s a great place to mingle and stroll past the shiny designer shops. Enjoy a drink at on of the numerous cafes on the port and watch the patrol of Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Bentleys and if you’re lucky, you may even see a celebrity or two!
Property for sale directly around Puerto Banus is always sought after and is in the main, apartments. There are always a few villas for sale close to the beach in Banus but these, rightly, will command a high price.
